This year the Klondike Derby will be the weekend of January 15, 2005 in Fluvanna county. Scouts who want to be a part of the Troop 17 team that is entered into the Derby should contact the scoutmaster.
This year's event will be at Pleasant Grove Park, Fluvanna County. See Monticello District website for more information.
The schedule would be to be at the Pleasant Grove Park in Fluvanna by 8:30.
Registration starts at 7:30 but from last years schedule, it looks like the flag raising begins at 9:00, Sled Judging at 9:30 and events at 10:00.
Directions: From I-64, go South on Route 15 towards Fluvanna. Go Through the town of Palmyra, cross the river, turn right on Route 53. Proceed on Rte 53 until you see the Klondike sign. Turn right into park and proceed to site.
