Welcome to the website for Troop 17 of Stonewall Jackson Area Council of Boy Scouts of America. The scouts and leaders of the troop have prepared this website for the benefit of potential scouts and parents who are looking for a Boy Scout troop in the Charlottesville, Virginia area. On these pages we plan to tell you about the troop and show you what we have been doing. You should find below a hyperlink to a video of just a few of the activities the troop has done. A DVD is also available from the recruitment committee that has DVD-quality video.
The leaders of Troop 17 are pleased to work with Cub Scout leaders to help inform potential scouts about Troop 17 as they consider Boy Scout troops to join. We can arrange a leader to present at one of your pack meetings and we can arrange to host your pack at one of the Troop 17 meetings. Please contact Scoutmaster for further information.

Stone Chapel (of the Church of the Incarnation)
The Troop 17 recruitment committee is organizing a Fair for Cub Scouts (Webelos I and II) looking at Boy Scout Troops to join this year or next year. The event will be held at the Stone Chapel of the Church of the Incarnation (2 blocks behind Toys-R-Us on route 29 in Charlottesville).
